Vampires and Venoms............

April 2011 sees the Flights named 'A' and 'B' and 'Junior' re-named with a

hint of the past..

welcome to 'Vampire' and 'Venom' Flights.

We have not forgotten the Junior flight though, it will be known as 'Vigilant' Flight.

Both the Vampire and Venom were some of the earliest Jet Fighters in Royal

Air Force service, and both flew with 249 Squadron. Over this year some of

the project work will focus on these historic aircraft.
