Suds-y for Pudsey

249 (Hailsham) Squadron Air Cadets raised £70 for children in need by holding a charity car wash. They were all set with their water, sponges and buckets at their Headquarters in Victoria Road, Hailsham, last weekend - where lots of car owners were very happy to donate to the cause. Cadets handed out leaflets into shops, and to people in the town to tell them about the event.

Flt Lt Neil Banks, Officer Commanding said “Sgt Herring, came up with the idea and we decides that every one love’s watching the Children in Need program so much and that it's such a good cause, that we should give it a go. All the money we raised will go to children in need and we would like to thank the residence of Hailsham for supporting such a good cause.
